For 2007, our all-digital encoding process allows us to acheive high quality video,
without cropping, blurriness, or that annoying "black bar" that you'll
see from camera-recorded videos. All the matches on our 2007 DVDs look almost
like the game is being played on your own TV.
Better Player Annotations
Another improvement this year is the way we overlay player names on top of
matches. In 2007 we use DVD subtitles to show the player names in every match. Using the subtitle button on your DVD remote, you can turn the player names on and off. This year, the subtitles are on the entire match so you can see who is playing at any time.
Interviews
Another addition to the DVD is player interviews. These let you glimpse into the top players minds and see what they are thinking before the match even begins. Some of these were aired at the live event, and some of them have never been seen before.
Live Crowd Reactions and Commentators
With new technology, we were able to capture direct feed with the added ability of being taped live. This enables crowd cheers and jeers and all the excitement without actually being there. Also, commentating experts will break down the matches move by move, to give you the most comprehensive gaming tournament ever!
